The Crimes Against Property Unit is an investigative unit within the Criminal Investigations Division. This unit investigates all crimes involving property. The Crimes Against Property Unit is comprised of one sergeant and nine investigators. These investigators also work closely with other agencies that are involved with their cases. The following are an example of offenses investigated by Detectives assigned to this unit:

The Crimes Against Property Unit is also assigned to track pawned property and recover property that has been identified as stolen. The Crimes Against Property Unit assists the Crimes Against Persons Units when needed.
